An old chapel and mechanical workshop located in a Camargue village near Nimes.
When they arrive from North Africa, Francoise and Jean settle down in the South of France, close to the sea in a town typical of the South Gard.
They move into part of an old domain which had been divided including a chapel and a hangar. The couple transform the hangar into a mechanical workshop and live in the house adjoining the chapel. House which had been used as a school during the war.
This property of approximately 750m2, opens onto a courtyard surronded by a high wall. It includes an old garage/workshop (approx 230m2) on 2 floors, a residential building (60m2), an appartment (approx 45m2) with terrace and an old chapel dating from 1850, 140m2 on the ground with phenomenal volumes!
All this property can be transformed, divided or combined to achieve an exiting and unusual project full of character. Somewhere ideal to associate professional activity and personal life or, why not,
for several families wishing to live in an unique environnement. An undeniable architectural potential!
